You’ll visit each classroom level to observe how carefully prepared environments spark children’s curiosity and love of learning. January 15, 2026 from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm

in person at our Mount Vernon campus

Explore how Montessori classrooms introduce children to the wonders of the natural world through carefully sequenced lessons in botany and zoology. From hands-on materials in the Primary classroom to research, experimentation, and in depth classification in Elementary, you’ll see how science education sparks curiosity, builds observation skills, and nurtures respect for living things. Parents will gain insight into how these lessons connect across ages and help children develop both knowledge and awe for the world around them.

Helping Me to Help Myself:

Everyday Activities that Build Confidence and Joy at Home and at School (ages 2.5 to 6)

February 26, 2026 from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm

in person at our Mount Vernon campus

Young children thrive when given meaningful opportunities to contribute to daily life. This session will highlight the Montessori approach to practical life—everyday activities that foster independence, concentration, and confidence. Parents will learn simple ways to support their child’s growth at home, from setting the table to caring for plants, and see how these same activities in the classroom lay the foundation for future academic and social success.
